At Therrestra we are convinced of the importance of promoting tourism as an attractive investment opportunity. Hence, we wanted to be in the Tourism investment forum of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores).

During the event in which our president, Hugo Perez Ovalles and our commercial manager, Pamela Pérez, participated, different experts from the sector gave their vision of the Dominican tourism industry, its challenges and opportunities.

At lunch, held in the Churchill room of the Hotel Real Intercontinental Santo Domingo, the president of Asonahores, Paola Rainieri de Díaz, explained that Asonahores seeks to promote the country's tourism industry as an investment opportunity and thus strengthen the dynamism that has characterized our sector. "The investment forum is a platform developed in order for the tourism sector to show its vision regarding the growth of the tourism industry, its role as an engine for the development of the national economy and its potential," said Rainieri de Díaz.

The Asonahores Tourism Investment Forum was attended by Alejandro Zozaya, CEO of Apple Leisure Group, Frank Rainieri, president & CEO of Grupo Puntacana, among other prominent personalities from the tourism sector who are leaders in the development of the country's tourism industry.
