While I held the position of "Purchasing Manager" in 2015, one day Eng. Starting in Therrestra I define it as a 180 degree change in my life. At 22 years old, I was not only faced with the opportunity to start a work stage in a new company but also with the fact of emigrating to another country, Jamaica.

When the process for the TH-2021 Excellence Award began, I was nominated by the University and then Eng. In the year of madness, where we had more than 8 projects at the same time, when we finished the work of Excellence, I had to go to Fantasy to serve as support there, when I arrived at this work the first thing I saw was our leader, Eng. Hugo Pérez bathed in sweat, standing from 5AM working every day as one of the team to achieve the goal we had in common, this type of sacrifice and dedication made the difference and we were able to build a 504-room hotel with its noble areas corresponding from ZERO in just seven months, that is the difference between a leader and a boss, I am captivated by the way Hugo influences his surroundings and how he makes us all feel committed and identified with the cause.

Lic. Báez has more than 20 years of experience in the area of economic sciences. She previously held the positions of Head of Accounts Payable, Head of Accounting, currently the position of Financial and Administrative Director of the Therrestra Group. Her skills, capacity and knowledge in the areas of accounting, finance and tax law make Lic. Engineer Ramón López is a business strategist with more than eighteen years of experience in the development, execution and administration of projects. López is an expert in contract negotiation and construction project management, and within his professional practice he has participated in the development of more than 50 projects in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Panama, Jamaica and St. Lucia.
