Hugo Pérez Ovalles “You are born with the attitude for business”

From the age of nine, Hugo Pérez Ovalles understood the meaning of decent and hard work. He started in a cabinet-making workshop, where he received one peso a week, and when Saturday came, the day he was paid, he felt like the happiest child in the world. From his childhood in his native Moca he fondly remembers the joy and camaraderie of the people in the neighborhood.

This is how he defines the professional moment in which he is currently. “When I graduated, I asked life as an engineer to let me build two little houses a year and have a little truck, a top and a compactor. Now we have a fleet of vehicles and we build two hotels per year. Life has multiplied by thousands my desire as a young man”.

Civil Engineering students from the PUCMM Santiago campus will have a 166 m2 space to carry out internships during their studies.
