Therrestra Group holds a talk on entrepreneurship

PUCMM Santo Domingo students participated in a conference on the importance of attitude to achieve goals

The president of Grupo Therrestra, Eng. Hugo Pérez Ovalles, taught the students of the Civil Engineering and Architecture careers of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), about the personal and professional trajectory of a successful graduate, the structure of an entrepreneur and the keys to active job search.

The engineer highlighted the importance of the attitude to achieve a first job, after finishing the academic career. “The real world assumes that candidates have to have clear expectations of what a company is looking for. You have to know the organization to which you apply”, said the engineer while talking with the young people.

During the conference, the engineer spoke about the importance of having a good attitude in order to have good results. "I don't believe in a magic word that sums up the key to success, but if I had to choose one, it would be attitude."

Around 70 students from both careers participated in the activity, which included a few words of welcome from Ashley Morales, director of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
