Therrestra supports the reintegration of the inmates of the La Isleta Center in Moca

At the La Isleta Correction and Rehabilitation Center, in Moca, inmates temporarily forget their situation and seek their social recovery through artisan work in wood, thread and leather.

In that sense, from Therrestra together with the Deputy Mayor of Moca, Judith Valdez, we have promoted the Second Craft Fair “Art makes us free. For a second chance ”, which was held in the Cáceres park, in that city.

During the fair, the inmates exhibited leather bags, shoes, wooden objects, bracelets and paintings, among other pieces.

"Our support for this fair is aimed at attacking precisely the causes of social exclusion that afflict most of the prisoners," explained our president, Hugo Pérez Ovalles.
