The president and founder of Grupo Therrestra, Ing. Hugo Pérez, took a tour of the facilities of the Moca Correction and Rehabilitation Center, in order to establish alliances and offer help, as part of his social responsibility.

Within the framework of said visit, the engineer, together with the director of the center, Bernardo Hernández, analyzed possible cooperation formulas to favor and stimulate the inmates' learning.

Pérez, a native of Moca, stressed the importance of the training that the prison provides to inmates to help them face a competitive labor market. “It fills me with pleasure to see the way in which the inmates show a desire to improve themselves through the work they do within the center. This is why I wanted to find a way to collaborate so that at some point they even come to work in my company ”, said Peréz while talking to the director of the center.

Members of the Moca Board of Trustees, President Víctor Abreu and a representative of the same, Ida Cáceres, also attended the visit. Also present was the Deputy Mayor of Moca, Judith Valdez, with whom engineer Pérez has a financing and dissemination agreement for social projects.
