FITUR 2022 will present the Dominican Republic as a partner country, giving this participation an outstanding role and strategic visibility for the promotion to the entire world of the great tourist attractions of this destination with such strong linguistic, cultural and historical ties with our country.

This was announced by the Dominican president, Luis Abinader, and Eduardo López-Puertas, general director of IFEMA MADRID, who explained their promotion plans at FITUR 2022 at a press conference on Tuesday in the Dominican Republic. The ceremony was also attended by the country's Minister of Tourism, David Collado, the directors of the main hotel chains established in the Dominican Republic, mostly Spanish capital.
