Contributions from Therrestra help the recovery of sports spaces in the Moca CCR.

As part of the mystique of our Group to help the socioeconomic integration of youth, the company delivered paintings to recover the basketball court of the La Isleta Correction and Rehabilitation Center, in the Moca municipality, an institution that has an internal population of 810 inmates, of which 39 are studying at the university.

"The purpose is that the inmates have the opportunity to have a sports training that facilitates and favors their integral training as an individual and that, immediately, they can participate in the 2018 Penitentiary Games", explains Hugo Peréz Ovalles, president and founder of Grupo Therrestra.

According to Therrestra's motive, convicted or paroled prisoners should have the possibility to continue their studies, which in many cases they drop out. "We want to put our grain of sand so that when that person regains his freedom he can have certified skills in a trade that immediately allows him to achieve a decent and decent job in the labor market," says Pérez.
