The first INCONCRETO award for excellence in the construction sector concludes its first edition with the awarding of scholarships to winners.

Santo Domingo, DN- During an emotional ceremony, executives from the Aybar and Therrestra construction companies, together with members of the Inconcreto jury council, as well as the rector of INTEC, formally presented the master's scholarships to the first edition of INCONCRETO, an award for excellence. academic for engineering and construction professionals.

After a three-stage purification process and a jury body with the highest profiles in the construction sector, four professionals who participated in the call to be part of this experience today formally receive their Master's in Science Administration scholarships. of Construction, to be taken at the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC).

Inconcreto is a project that not only benefits the selected professionals but also unites the efforts of important figures in the industry who have marked the history of construction in our country, faithfully believing that training is the pillar of a nation.

“We feel honored to reach this day after months of evaluations,” highlighted one of the founders of the award, Rafael Aybar, who also thanked each of the people and construction companies that came together to achieve the award.

The selection that was developed since the announcement of the award in February of this year, consisted of three stages, in which 80 profiles were initially selected, and then 20 participants were purged who went through the INTEC test filter. Finally, 10 profiles were chosen to be interviewed one by one by the members of the award's jury council, and conclude in awarding the scholarships for the master's degrees.

After considering the professional quality presented during the interviews and given the great impact that the level of the profiles that were selected had, thanks to the consensus and effort of all those involved in the project, six more scholarships will be awarded for a total of ten scholarship recipients, being a great surprise for those present at the activity.

Hugo Pérez, founder of the Inconcreto project, like engineer Rafael Aybar, concluded in his closing words as follows: “we firmly believe in the education and development of our professionals. In this first edition we managed to get 10 people made of concrete , with concrete muscles and steel bones… talents that represent the future of our industry.”

The ceremony was held at a cocktail party in the Opal Grand Ballroom of the Embassy Suites by Hilton, attended by the winners and all the construction companies involved, as well as related parties and the media, who gathered to witness first-hand the closing of this first edition of INCONCRETO.
