Grupo Therrestra particip\u00f3 durante los d\u00edas 11 al 13 de abril, en la d\u00e9cima novena feria Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange, DATE 2018, el evento m\u00e1s importante de promoci\u00f3n de la oferta tur\u00edstica dominicana.<\/p>\n

El Ing. Hugo P\u00e9rez Ovalles, presidente de Therrestra, subray\u00f3 que DATE se ha establecido como el encuentro m\u00e1s importante para quienes apuestan por el desarrollo tur\u00edstico del pa\u00eds. \u201cEventos como estos sirven como plataforma para intercambios de negocios que fortalecen al sector turismo en el pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan datos oficiales, el sector tur\u00edstico es de gran importancia para la econom\u00eda del pa\u00eds, puesto que de cada cuatro pesos que genera la econom\u00eda dominicana uno proviene directa o indirectamente de la industria tur\u00edstica. De hecho, el turismo general representa el 8% del Producto Interno Bruto del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

DATE cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de cien expositores y se llev\u00f3 acabo en el Centro de Convenciones del Barcel\u00f3 B\u00e1varo Beach en Punta Cana, organizado por la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles y Turismo de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, Asonahores, y con el apoyo del Ministerio de Turismo.<\/p>\n
